Evaluation of Different Rootstocks and Cultivars on Pruning Weight in Young Pear Trees

This study was carried out to evaluation of the effects on pruning weight (kg plant-1), cumulative per plant and hectare ha-1) 3 quince rootstocks [Quince BA29 (BA29), Quince A (QA), C (MC)] pear clonal (Fox11, OHxF333, Farold 40) seedling grafted with 4 standard cultivars (‘Abate Fetel’, ‘Deveci’, ‘Santa Maria’, ‘Williams’) between 2019-2021 years. Rootstocks, cultivars, research years their interactions significantly affected all examined parameters in study, except for interaction year x rootstock cultivar. Regarding averages, highest plant-1) observed from Fox 11, lowest BA29, QA, MC rootstocks. Regardless cultivar Maria’ The ‘Deveci’/Fox11, ‘Williams’/QA, ‘Williams’/BA29, ‘Abate Fetel’/MC, Maria’/MC combinations terms interaction. (kg) determined ‘Williams’/QA combination Furthermore, Maria’/MC, Maria’/Seedling Except rootstock, clone generally had lower traits than study. It can be said that weaker development compared causes this situation. According results young trees, it are somewhat advantageous due less labor cost.
